Sweet Pill Bring Bad Neighbour Along for Australian Tour 2025

Following in the steps of fellow New Bloom Festival headliners Basement and Balance & Composure, Sweet Pill are embarking on a headline tour of their own while Down Under.
The energetic quintet have locked in three headline gigs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide this March. Sweet Pill aren’t going it alone, bringing along Brizzy indie rockers Bad Neighbour for their three non-festival appearances.
Local support comes in the form of Talk Heavy and Sunbleached in Brisbane, Post Heaven and Redspencer in Melbourne and Molly Rocketr and Haliday in Adelaide.
Sweet Pill’s first show of the tour takes place at Brisbane’s Valley Loft (Friday, March 7) and is followed by appearances at New Bloom Fest in Brisbane (Saturday, March 8), Sydney (Sunday, March 9) and Melbourne (Monday, March 10). The final two dates of their Aussie run occur at Melbourne’s Stay Gold (Wednesday, March 12) and Adealide’s Jive (Thursday, March 13).

Coming together in 2018, Sweet Pill consists of singer Zayna Youssef, guitarists Jayce Williams and Sean McCall, bassist Ryan Cullen and drummer Chris Kearney.
The five-piece released their debut album, Where the Heart Is, in 2022, and spent much of that year supporting La Dispute on their US and Canada tour.
Signing with Hopeless Records in 2023, Sweet Pill released the EPs Starchild (2024) and Unraveled (2025), and are excited to be performing in Australia in March.
