Not-for-profit charity One of One is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year with a national breakfast and networking tour. Coinciding with Women’s History Month, the breakfast tour begins with One of One’s first-ever Perth event before hitting Brisbane, Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

This week One of One announced it will be giving out a selection of awards, grants and scholarship opportunities to help nurture and support female and gender non-conforming members of the Aussie music scene. Check out the list below.

  • One of One x Warner Music Innovator Award honours those who have made a huge impact in music marketing, management, A&R and production, with a $2,000 cash prize up for grabs.

  • One of One x White Sky Entrepreneurs Scholarship is annually awarded to an emerging woman or gender non-conforming entrepreneur. Valued at $10,000, the scholarship provides business mentorship and support, with previous winners including Anne Wiberg and Emily Ulman.

  • One of One x Mushroom Music Grant comes with a $5,000 financial bonus to be used by an independent music professional to help advance their career.

  • One x One UNIFIED Community Impact Award goes to a trailblazer making an impact in the “fields of equality, diversity and inclusion.” It comes with a tidy $2,000 financial prize and professional assistance from UNIFIED.

  • One of One GYROstream ‘Get Your One of One’ is an exclusive mentoring package announced to coincide with International Women’s Day. Valued at $5,000, the initiative includes a DSP and social media audit, DSP pitching support, organic social strategy insights and free distribution for a year.

“These awards will create a positive impact for the recipients and have been carefully put together by our partners with thoughtful consideration,” says the One of One team. “They show a deep commitment to enacting real and sustainable change for women and GNC people in our industry and we are proud to help present them.”
