New Zealand’s Sons of Zion Announce Australian TOur 2025
This marks Sons of Zion’s first Australian tour in two years.
Kiwi reggae pop collective Sons of Zion returns to Australian shores this year for a ten-date tour. Two years since their last visit, the group are performing in several cities for the first time, including Adelaide.
“@sonsofzion are heading back to Australia for their first tour in 2 years, hitting a few new cities for the 1st time (Sunshine Coast, Adelaide, Geelong, Newcastle) 🔥 & making their long awaited return to Western Australia 💥,” the band wrote on Instagram.
Sons of Zion commence their tour on the Gold Coast at Burleigh Town Hotel on Friday, March 21, and follow this with shows at Brisbane’s Mansfield Tavern on Saturday, March 22, Sunshine Coast’s Kings Beach Tavern on Sunday, March 23, Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Thursday, March 27, Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom on Friday, March 28 and Geelong’s The Wool Exchange on Saturday, March 29.
The band then make their way into NSW for shows at Newcastle’s The Newy on Friday, April 11 and Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Saturday, April 12 before wrapping up the tour with gigs at Fremantle’s Metropolis on Friday, April 25 and Perth’s Eden on Saturday, April 26.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via Nesian Roots Entertainment bar Adelaide and Sydney, with tickets for those gigs available via Moshtix.

Rising to popularity in New Zealand in 2018 with the single, ‘Drift Away’, Sons of Zion have firmly established themselves as one of the country’s premier reggae acts.
Almost two decades into their career, Sons of Zion have released three albums – Sons of Zion (2009), Universal Love (2013) and Vantage Point (2018) – and two New Zealand #1 singles – ‘Drift Away’ and ‘Love on the Run’.
Performing in Adelaide for the very first time in March, this is one gig reggae fans won’t want to miss.
