Soda Boyz Plot 2025 Australian Tour
The band’s first Australian tour in almost seven years kicks off at the end of the month.

Slowcore indie trio Soda Boyz are crossing the ditch in support of their much anticipated second album, Not Boyz Anymore.
Arriving February 5 via Bandcamp, the album has been three years in the making. Recorded with New Zealand engineer James Goldsmith and mastered by Carl Saff, the album is sonically similar to their rip-roaring debut, Farewell Spit, while showcasing a growth in the band’s songwriting.
Often compared to similar bands such as Duster and Slint, Soda Boyz Not Boyz Anymore “is woven into the band's aging through trauma, memories, loss and coming to terms with transitioning.”
To give fans a taste of what to expect, Soda Boyz have shared the single, ‘Post Spa 2’. A hypnotic, tranquil dose of indie goodness with bird sounds and pedal effects, the track has a calming impact on the soul.

As for the Soda Boyz tour, Fi Carr, Josh Finegan and Jules Rosenbrook touch down in Australia at the end of this month and begin their 11-date visit with a gig at Newcastle’s Hamilton Station Hotel on Thursday, January 30.
This is followed by two concerts in Sydney at Petersham Bowling Club on Friday, January 31 and Pari Loading Dock on Saturday, February 1 before shows at Woy Woy’s Link & Pin on Sunday, February 2, Wollongong’s Society City on Thursday, February 6 and Canberra’s Dissent Cafe and Bar on Friday, February 7.
The Soda Boyz then hot foot it to Melbourne for three shows at Bergy Bandroom on Saturday, February 8, Cafe Gummo on Sunday, February 9 and Nighthawks on Monday, February 10 before wrapping things up at Adelaide’s Hotel Metro on Friday, February 14 and Brisbane’s Season Three on Saturday, February 15.
Soda Boyz’s first Aussie visit in almost seven years will see them supported by Sydney’s doomwave weirdos Potential and Brisbane’s mysterious Craning.
