The instrumental force of nature known as O. have announced a limited run of shows taking place across the country next March.

The London-based duo of saxophonist Joe Henwood and drummer Tash Keary are set to take you to another world with their cosmic noise rock arrangements that will make your head hurt, in a good way.

O.’s Aussie jaunt begins with two performances at Adelaide’s WOMADelaide festival on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9. This is followed by two solo shows at Melbourne’s John Curtin Hotel on Wednesday, March 12 and Sydney’s The Lansdowne Hotel on Thursday, March 13.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now via Handsome Tours.

After securing a residency at Brixton’s iconic venue The Windmill, O. soon found themselves supporting the likes of black midi and Gilla Band across the UK and Europe, leading to the release of their chaotic debut album, WeirdOs.

Produced by Dan Carey and released on his label Speedy Wunderground, WeirdOs is a sonic journey through thumping beats and intricate jazz lines that blurs genres and time itself.

Performing the album’s ten tracks live is something you have to see to believe, with O. transforming their debut into a mesmerising instrumental freakout that will leave your face melting.

Catch O. at WOMADelaide in Botanic Park on Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9. Tickets on sale now via womadelaide.com.au.
