Beans On Toast’s Australian Tour Kicks Off This Week
The UK folk artist has locked in 12 shows across January.
Fans of British folk artist Beans On Toast are in luck, with the talented singer-songwriter’s Australian tour kicking off this week.
Fresh from releasing his fifteenth studio album Wild Goose Chasers, in December of 2024, Beans On Toast returns Down Under for four headline shows before supporting Australia’s own William Crighton on his national tour.
Beans On Toast’s solo shows begin with a concert at The Bird in Northbridge tonight, Wednesday, January 15. This is followed by gigs at Adelaide’s Crown & Anchor (Thursday, January 16), Collingwood’s The Gasometer Hotel (Friday, January 17) and Newtown’s The Vanguard (Saturday, January 18).
Then Beans On Toast hooks up with Crighton for a bunch of shows at Danger Island’s Bowling Club (Sunday, January 19), Canberra’s Smith’s Alternative (Tuesday, January 21), Beechworth’s Old Stone Hall (Wednesday, January 22), Tumut’s Montreal Community Theatre (Thursday, January 23) and Grenfell’s The Cordial Factory (Friday, January 24).
A spot on the Nundle Rock Festival bill (Saturday, January 25) is followed by two final performances at Old Bar in Fitzroy (Monday, January 27) and Black Bear Lodge in Fortitude Valley on Wednesday, January 29.

Beans On Toast is one of the UK’s most prolific folk artists, releasing an album every year in December since dropping his debut, Standing on a Chair, in 2009.
Combining relatable lyrics with folk-rock instrumentation, Beans On Toast has gained a huge following not only in his home country but across the globe, highlighted by his relentless touring schedule.
The moniker of Jay McAllister, Beans On Toast has released 15 albums across his two-decade career, performed at every Glastonbury since 2007 and played alongside some of the biggest acts in the world.

This year’s festival is headlined by Aussie greats Bodyjar and 28 Days.
In partnership with Carclew, the first-ever teen edition of The Note arrives with the ambition of getting kids to gigs and involved in Adelaide’s vibrant music and arts scene.
