Returning to Australia this year, Swedish hard rockers The Night Flight Orchestra are excited to perform tracks from their most recent album, Give Us the Moon.

Released last month via Napalm Records, Give Us the Moon is the collective’s seventh studio album and first since the passing of guitarist David Andersson in 2022.

Touching down in Australia this May, The Night Flight Orchestra have four dates lined up, kicking things off in Melbourne at Max Watts on Thursday, May 29. The band then perform at Brisbane’s Crowbar on Friday, May 30 and Syndey’s Crowbar on Saturday, May 31, wrapping things up in Adelaide at The Gov on Sunday, June 1.

Early bird tickets (which are also cheaper) go on sale Wednesday, February 12 at 9:30am local time. General on-sale begins Friday, February 14 at 9:30am local time. For full ticketing details visit hardlinemedia.com.

There will also be limited VIP Meet & Greet tickets up for grabs across all four shows. Not only do these tickets grant early access to the show and merch stand, but they allow ticketholders the opportunity to grab a photo with the band, receive an exclusive VIP lanyard/laminate and Australian tour poster (which can be signed), along with enabling ticketholders the chance to bring along three personal items to be signed by the band. Full details can be found at hardlinemedia.com.

The Night Flight Orchestra was formed in 2007 by Soilwork members Björn Strid and David Anderson while touring the US. The duo wanted to recreate the classic hard rock sound of the ‘70s and ‘80s and have done a pretty bang-up job at fulfilling their mission.

Recruiting a who’s who of talented musicians, including Arch Enemy bassist Sharlee D'Angelo, The Night Flight Orchestra released their first studio album, Internal Affairs, in 2012. Six more albums followed, along with three Swedish Grammy nominations and millions of streams.

Known for their outrageous live shows that saw them support KISS on the band’s final two shows in Sweden, along with a tour of Latin America last year, The Night Flight Orchestra are once again ready to tear things up Down Under later this year.

Catch The Night Flight Orchestra at The Gov on Sunday, June 1. Tickets on sale now via hardlinemedia.com.
