Arguably one of the greatest named bands of all time, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets have announced a massive world tour that kicks off with a bunch of shows across Australia this March.
The tour comes in support of the Crumpets’ forthcoming new album, which is set for release sometime in May. In a statement released on Instagram, the band had this to say about the tour:
“G’day Crumpeteers! The old popcorn colonels are back on their camels, heading to a town near you. Galloping around Australia first, onto USA, venturing out west to UK & finally Europe, what a beautiful time to be alive!
“Playing a bunch of smaller shows to launch our new record(incoming May 2025), and then we’ll have a load more dates across the globe. So if you don’t see your city, then don’t despair. This is just the first half of the year!
“Can’t wait to play you the new stuff we’ve been working on, throw in some new oldies along the way. Buckle up cosmonauts, this one’s gunna be glorious 🍻”
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets’ Aussie tour kicks off at Perth’s Rosemount on Saturday, March 22 and continues with dates at Sydney’s Oxford Arts Factory (Friday, March 28) and Wollongong’s Uni Bar (Saturday, March 29).
The band then hit Gold Coast’s Miami Marketta (Thursday, April 3), Brisbane’s Crowbar (Friday, April 4), Sunshine Coast’s Solbar (Saturday, April 5) and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel (Friday, April 11), before wrapping things up at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Saturday, April 12.

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets have been out there getting it down for close to a decade. Following in the footsteps of fellow experimental psych-rockers King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, the Crumpets have gained a loyal following over the years that’s seen them become extremely popular in the States and the UK.
The band broke through with their fourth studio album, 2021’s Shyga! The Sunlight Mound. The record peaked at #4 on the ARIA Album Chart and was nominated for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album at the ARIA Awards.
The current Crumpets lineup of Jack McEwan (vocals), Luke Parish (guitar), Danny Caddy (drums), Wayan Biliondana (bass), Chris Young (guitar/keyboards) and Peter Coyne (backup drums) are pumped to perform their new songs for Aussie audiences before jet setting overseas and playing dates in America, Europe and the UK.
