Sam Barber Brings His Restless Mind World Tour To Australia

The Missouri country singer-songwriter is embarking on his debut Australian headline tour next April.

Rising American country singer-songwriter Sam Barber is heading back to Australia in 2025. The talented 21-year-old is bringing his Restless Mind Tour to stages across the nation next April for what promises to be a must-attend tour for country music fans.

Barber's first headline tour of Australia comes after he entertained fans in 2023 at the inaugural Ridin’ Hearts Festival, performing alongside the likes of Bailey Zimmerman, Alana Springsteen and Danielle Bradbery.

Taking to social media to announce the tour, Barber wrote, “AUSTRALIA! See you next April! 🇦🇺 So excited to get back and play a bunch of new music off the album. Also. . . Cameron Whitcomb is coming to open up the shows 👊.”

Barber’s debut Australian headline tour commences in Fremantle at Freo Social on Wednesday, April 23 and continues with dates at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday, April 25, Melbourne’s The Corner Hotel on Saturday, April 26, Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Tuesday, April 29 and Brisbane’s The Triffid on Wednesday, April 30.

Artist pre-sale begins at 8:30am local time on Tuesday, December 10 and runs for 60 hours. This is followed by the Frontier Members pre-sale that kicks off at 8:30am local time on Wednesday, December 11 and runs for 36 hours. General public on-sale takes place at 8:30am local time on Friday, December 13 via Frontier Touring.

Following on from the success of Barber’s breakthrough single ‘Straight and Narrow’ in 2022, the Southeast Missouri artist dropped his debut album, Restless Mind, in November of this year.

Peaking at #13 on the US Country Charts, the record has been praised by country music critics, with Holler Country claiming “Restless Mind confirms Barber’s undeniable sense of self that is firmly rooted in a commitment to his ample talent and prolific work ethic.”

Making his live debut in 2023 at The Basement in Nashville, Barber was playing the iconic Grand Ole Opry just three months later. Having performed to sold out crowds across the US and Europe, along with appearing on the bill of massive American festivals Stagecoach and Lollapalooza, Barber’s April tour of Australia is sure to be another sell out for the rising star.
