Auckland’s finest Daily J are crossing the Tasman next year and embarking on a nine-date tour of Australia.

After three sold-out tours of New Zealand and Australia, along with a well-received debut tour of the UK, Daily J are excited to perform for their Aussie fans again next year in support of their forthcoming album, Scatterbrains (pre-save here), due out in February 2025.

Says the band about the tour: “We’re fizzing, absolutely fizzing to play our most upbeat and energetic album yet! We can’t wait to kick things off in Australia, especially in places we haven’t made it to yet. Can’t wait to share some new sun-drenched songs with you all!”

The tour begins in Wollongong at La La La’s on Wednesday, February 26 and continues with dates at Newcastle’s King St Warehouse on Thursday, February 27, Sydney’s The Factory on Friday, February 28, Fremantle’s Freo Social on Sunday, March 2, Adelaide’s Jive on Tuesday, March 4 and Sunshine Coast’s Sol Bar on Thursday, March 6.

Daily J wrap things up with three final gigs at Brisbane’s Brightside Carpark on Friday, March 7, Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Saturday, March 8 and the Torquay Hotel on Sunday, March 9.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now via dailyjband.com.

Since the release of their debut album Letting Go in 2020, Daily J have found themselves at the forefront of New Zealand’s indie rock scene.

Made up of brothers Jayden, Jonny and Jesse Paul and their good mate Rick Everard, Daily J have toured extensively over the past four years and are now gearing up to release their new album Scatterbrains into the world.

The three singles released from Scatterbrains, ‘Sunday Stitches’, ‘Tastes Like Forever’ and ‘Happy Slides’, hint at what fans can expect from the record – a textured, spirited collection of tunes exploring themes such as introspection and disconnection.

Catch Daily J at Jive on Tuesday, March 4. Tickets on sale now via Moshtix. Pre-save a copy of Scatterbrains here.
