Pirate Life Brewing Announce 10th Bday Recovery Sunday Session

The free event takes place the day after the night before and will be a chilled arvo of cold brews, tasty grub and homegrown tunes.

Don't get upset if you missed out on tickets to Pirate Life Brewing’s sold-out 10th birthday bash. The Port Adelaide-based brewery has just announced they are holding a free recovery session the following day on Sunday, March 2.

The 10th bday South Coast Sunday Session is shaping up as a chilled-out day full of cold beers, tasty grub and local tunes. “Expect some country, funk, indie, and the laid-back stylings of legendary Aussie songwriter Jack Botts,” organisers posted on Instagram.

Along with the talented Jack Botts, the day features sets from psychedelic groovers Druid Fluids, soulful musician Maybe Hugo and country warbler Matt Ward and the Rising Sons. Also performing are jazz sextet Soylent Green, Americana collective The Flying Squad and rugged troubadour Ben Roberts playing the hits of Johnny Cash.

The recovery session kicks off at 11am on Sunday, March 2 and runs throughout the day, with all your Pirate Life Brewing favourites on tap ready to bring you back to life after what’s sure to be a heavy night on Saturday.

Pirate Life has also implemented another fantastic initiative – a resale site for tickets for the official 10th birthday celebrations on Saturday, March 1. Those who have purchased tickets but can no longer make the day can jump on the Moshtix resale page and sell their tickets to someone keen to attend, making sure the tickets don’t go to waste.

Pirate Life Brewing’s 10th Bday Recovery South Coast Sunday Session takes place at 18 Baker Street on Sunday, March 2.
