Crypt Crawler Drop New Single Ahead of Australian Tour
The band will be performing at the Cranker this October.
Perth death metal giants Crypt Crawler have a lot going on at the moment. Not only are they gearing up for a tour of Australia, but the unrelenting quintet are also prepping for the release of their third album, The Immortal Realm, set for release Friday, September 13 (pre-order here) And to top things off, Crypt Crawler has just released the album’s third single, ‘Higher Society’.
Taking to social media to announce the single’s release, the band shared this statement: “We are proud to unleash the third single from our upcoming album, The Immortal Realm. This track features the legendary James Murphy (Death, Obituary, Disincarnate) ripping an epic solo. We are incredibly proud of this track and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”
‘Higher Society’ is not for the faint of heart, with the track a brutal assault of monster riffs, head throbbing drumming and Marco Ieritano’s ear-shattering vocals.

Crypt Crawler’s The Immortal Realm drops mid-September, a few weeks before the band hit the road on their 2024 Australian Immortal Tour.
The tour gets underway on Saturday, September 21 at Melbourne’s The Gasometer Hotel. The lad then head back to WA as part of the lineup for this year’s Electric Eye Heavy Fest in Fremantle. Crypt Crawler then support American heavy metal icons Nile in Perth at Milk Bar on Tuesday, October 15. The final three dates of the tour take place at Tom Cat in Brisbane on Thursday, October 24, Vinnies Dive on the Gold Coast on Friday, October 25 and Adelaide’s Crown & Anchor on Saturday, October 26.
Touring with Crypt Crawler are fellow Perth metal hellraisers Ashen, who will perform in Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide. Tickets for all shows are on sale now via this link.
