UK Comedian Sarah Millican Announces 2025 Australian Tour
Millican will bring her ‘Late Bloomer’ tour Down Under next year.
UK comedian, writer and TV presenter Sarah Millican is bringing her successful ‘Late Bloomer’ tour Down Under next year.
As a youngster, Millican was quiet at school with few friends, but now, she’s loud and brash and one of Britain’s funniest ladies. The ‘Late Bloomer’ tour delves into Millican’s childhood and transformation into the woman she is today. The show also addresses dinners and lady gardens and will have you laughing in the aisles.
Millican has locked in nine dates across the nation, with the first show taking place at the Royal Theatre in Canberra on Sunday, March 2. She then performs at Wrest Point Entertainment Centre in Hobart on Tuesday, March 4, Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide on Wednesday, March 5, Hammer Hall in Melbourne on Friday, March 7 and Costa Hall in Geelong on Friday, March 8.
The final four stand-up shows take place at RAC Arena in Perth on Friday, March 14, Newcastle Entertainment Centre in Newcastle on Monday, March 17, State Theatre in Sydney on Tuesday, March 18 and Convention Centre in Brisbane on Sunday, March 23.
Pre-sale commences Wednesday, June 5 at 10:30am. General sale kicks off Friday, June 7 at 9:30am. Visit BOHM Presents for full ticketing details.
Millican began her stand-up career in 2004 after getting divorced and moving back in with her parents. She got her big break in 2008 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe when her show, ‘Sarah Millican's Not Nice’, won her the Best Newcomer award.
Her career has continued to thrive since then, with Millican selling out multiple tours across Europe while also becoming a popular panel guest and TV presenter, appearing on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie to You?, QI and Never Mind the Buzzcocks and more, while also hosting her own show, 2012s The Sarah Millican Television Programme.
She’s also co-hosted several shows on BBC Radio, released six comedy specials and written the part autobiography, part self-help book, How to be Champion.
Millican’s Australian visit promises to be a hilarious masterclass in stand-up and one not to be missed.
