Aaron Chen Announces ‘Funny Garden’ 2025 Australian Tour

 

The stand-up comedian and actor is performing at AEC Theatre in February.

Stand-up comedian Aaron Chen is bringing his Funny Garden tour to select Australian cities in 2025.

After spending much of this year performing his routine to audiences across the globe, along with starring in the hit Netflix series FISK and as Guy Montgommery’s loyal assistant on the ABC smash Guy Montgommery’s Spelling Bee, the Sydney-born comic is debuting Funny Garden in seven Aussie cities next year.

Chen will perform stand-up at Narre Warren’s Bunjil Place on Thursday, February 6 followed by dates at Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Saturday, February 8, Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Friday, February 14, Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Saturday, February 15, Gold Coast’s HOTA Theatre on Thursday, February 27 and Canberra’s Llewellyn Hall on Saturday, March 1, before wrapping things up with a final show at Geelong’s Costa Hall on Sunday, March 2.

My Live Nation pre-sale begins at 10:30am local time on Wednesday, December 18 and runs until 9:30am local time on Thursday, December 19. General on-sale kicks off at 11:30am on Thursday, December 19 via Live Nation.

Since his debut comedy show in 2017, Aaron Chen has quickly established himself as one of Australia’s funniest comics.

Winning the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s People’s Choice Award for the most tickets sold during the festival, the now New York-based Chen has performed at many of the major international comedy festivals, with his 2022 stand-up special, If It Weren’t Filmed, Nobody Would Believe, have ing accumulated over 1.3 million views.
