Emerging from Australia’s pub rock scene of the ‘80s, Noiseworks are one of the country’s most successful acts. Formed in 1986, the Sydney quintet had four ARIA Chart top ten albums – Noiseworks (1987), Touch (1988), Love Versus Money (1991) and Greatest Hits (1992) – along with three ARIA Chart top ten singles – ‘Take Me Back’, ‘Touch’ and ‘Hot Chilli Woman’.
Sadly for fans, Noiseworks disbanded in 1992, with Stevens going on to have a wildly successful solo career. That said, over the past 30 years the band have got back together for several reunion tours, finally reforming in 2016, leading to the release of their 2022 fourth studio album, Evolution.
