The creator of the Metalheadz label has locked in a massive three hour set.
Another icon of the UK drum and bass scene, Goldie, is making a triumphant return to Adelaide this month.
The mastermind behind the Metalheadz label, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, is performing a not-to-be-missed three-hour set of classic DnB tunes at Lion Arts Factory on Sunday, December 15.
Renowned for the dancefloor-filling singles ‘Inner City Life’, ‘I Adore You’ and ‘State of Mind’, Goldie co-founded the Metalheadz label alongside the musical duo Kemistry & Storm in 1994.
Joining Goldie behind the boards and on the mic throughout the night is an awesome lineup of local talent, including Wattsy, DT3, G-Swift, Pab and Ess Bee, with more to be announced in the week leading up to the gig.
Tickets for Goldie’s headline Adelaide performance are on sale now via Moshtix.

Beginning life as a graffiti artist, Goldie emerged as a DJ during the 90s rave scene, quickly establishing himself at the forefront of the jungle, drum and bass and breakbeat hardcore scenes.
Along with forming Metalheadz, Goldie released Timeless – a classic jungle album that peaked at #7 on the UK Album Chart and helped lay the foundation for the genre.
Not only is Goldie a well-respected DJ and producer, but the Walsall lad has ventured into other creative art forms, including acting (The World Is Not Enough, Snatch, East Enders), modelling and writing, with his two autobiographies Nine Lives and All Things Remembered well worth a read.
Knighted as a Member of the British Empire (MBE) for services to music and young people, Goldie is a true dance music legend whose Adelaide performance is one DnB fans don’t want to be missed.
