Melbourne punk trio CLAMM are embarking on their biggest Australian tour yet.

The announcement comes as the band prepare for the release of their third album, Serious Acts, which arrives Friday, May 5 via Meat Machine Records (pre-order here)

Serious Acts follows last year’s Disembodiment EP and has been preceded by the singles ‘And I Try’ and ‘No Idea’, both of which are thumping, rhythmic bursts of raw noise.

CLAMM’s Australian tour takes in eight dates across the nation, commencing with a hometown show at Melbourne’s The Night Cat on Saturday, August 2. The tour continues with dates at Newtown’s Waywards on Friday, August 8, Wollongong’s La La La’s on Saturday, August 9, Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge on Friday, August 15 and Gold Coast’s Vinnies Dive Bar on Saturday, August 16.

The final three concerts take place at Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Saturday, August 23, Perth’s Seasonal Brewing on Saturday, September 6 and Fremantle’s Buffalo Club on Sunday, September 7.

Tickets for all shows are on sale now via linktr.ee/Clamm.

The trio of guitarist Jack Summers, bassist Maisie Everett and drummer Miles Harding had a breakout year in 2024. Not only was their four-track EP, Disembodiment, well received, but the band sold out a run of shows across Australia and Europe.

Press notes detailing the band’s upcoming third long player call Serious Acts “an exciting new chapter for the trio, expanding their musical boundaries while staying true to their raw and powerful core.”

The past couple of years have seen CLAMM’s share the stage with the likes of Amyl & The Sniffers, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and Ty Segall, while also ripping festival crowds into a frenzy at Meredith, the UK’s Wide Awake and France’s Binic Folk & Blues.

Catch CLAMM at the Ed Castle on Saturday, August 23. Tickets on sale now via Mostix.
