The 12th edition of Party in the Paddock might just be the best yet. The annual Tassie festival has come out all guns blazing with its 2025 lineup headlined by electro-dream pop act Empire of the Sun, fierce rockers Amyl & the Sniffers and Norwegian singer-songwriter AURORA.
Once again taking place at Quercus Park, just a short drive from Launceston, Party in the Paddock takes place from Thursday, February 6 to Sunday, February 9.
The bill also includes acclaimed Aussie songstress Angie McMahon, indie singer Role Model, alt-pop favs The Rubens, singer-songwriter Thelma Plum and explosive punk rock act Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.
There’ll also be must-see sets from Floodlights, DICE, In2stellar, Full Moon Flower Band, Sycco and King Stingray.
Those with keen eyes will notice the poster for Party in the Paddock mentions a ‘Secret Headliner’, which is rumoured to be an artist from the UK. Charli XCX is in the country at the same time…
Along with the music, Party in the Paddock offers a range of exciting experiences including yoga and meditation, a skate ramp, a mechanical bull competition, live podcasts, comedy shows and immersive art installations.
Pre-sale tickets are available tomorrow, Thursday, October 17 from 7:30am local time. Only 3,000 pre-sale tickets are up for grabs, so those keen need to sign up here. You have until 7:30pm tonight to register.
General on-sale kicks off on Friday, October 18 at 7:30am local time via the Party in the Paddock website.

First held in 2013, Party in the Paddock has slowly grown over the years to become Tassie’s top youth music festival.
Returning in 2023 after several years in the wilderness due to the pandemic, the festival delivered a phenomenal event with a lineup including Gang of Youths, Vengaboys, DMA’s, The Presets, Vera Blue, Young Franco and more.
This year’s Party in the Paddock was another winner with a bill featuring international acts Rudimental, The Darkness and Milky Chance performing alongside Aussie favs G Flip, Ball Park Music and Lime Cordial.
