Jack Botts might not be a household name, but the charming surf folk artist has built a huge fanbase across the globe with his heartfelt storytelling, resulting in over 100 million streams and more than 80 shows across North America, Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand in 2024 alone.
Later this month, Botts is releasing his new EP, Home (pre-save here), which includes the Jack Johnson-esque title track. Speaking on the single, Botts shared: “I’ve spent most of my 20s constantly on the move, traveling and touring all over the place—and I’ve loved every minute of it! But early in 2024, I had a rare window of time back in Australia.
“It had been a while since I just stopped, sat down, and fully embraced home. I didn’t realize how much I’d missed the little things—surf checks, the sound of native birds, quiet mornings at local cafés, time in the water, the sun, the silence, and of course, moments with friends and family. It felt so nice. Right then and there, I knew these days are the best. Home days.”
