I See Stars aim to reschedule the tour and announce new dates in the coming weeks.
Bad news for fans of American electronicore quartet I See Stars. Set to kick off their Australian tour this Friday in Brisbane, I See Stars have postponed the tour due to exhaustion.
A statement released by the band on the Destroy All Lines website reads: “Over the last couple of months, we’ve done everything we can to prepare for this tour, but it’s become clear that we are physically and mentally unable to perform right now. Since July, we’ve been touring nonstop across the world which has taken a toll on our overall well-being.
“This is not a decision we take lightly—we’ve never had to do this before—but for the sake of not only our health, but the integrity of the show, we’ve decided to postpone these dates to later this year. We want to give you the best, most authentic performance possible, and right now, that means taking this time to recover.
“These shows are NOT cancelled—they are being rescheduled, and all purchased tickets will be honored. New dates will be announced soon. We appreciate your love and support during this time and truly can’t wait to come back!”
Destroy All Lines have confirmed new dates will be revealed shortly and all existing tickets remain valid.
This was meant to be I See Stars’ first Australian tour in 14 years, with the band super excited to return to our shores. Hopefully, they can rest up and get themselves 100% mentally and physically fit and make it Down Under later this year.
