Melbourne indie pop producer Geffory O’Connor returns to Adelaide this month in support of his latest album, I Love What We Do.
Released via Dinosaur City Records (grab a copy here) on Valentine’s Day, O’Connor’s fourth solo album has received rave reviews, with The Australian awarding I Love What We Do four out of five stars.
The record, a breezy cocktail of atmospheric ‘80s synth pop creations, finds O’Connor working with some of Melbourne’s finest instrumentalists, showcasing his evolving musical palette across the album’s ten tracks.
“The album involves more guest musicians than anything I’ve been involved with previously,” says Geoffrey, “including harp, flute, singing saw, cello, viola, violin, choral harmonies and duet vocals.”
Having already performed for fans in Melbourne and Sydney, O’Connor makes his way to Adelaide for what promises to be a thrilling evening of live music at Arthur Art Bar on Saturday, April 19.
O’Connor will be joined by local supports Dom Sensitive and Somewhere, with tickets on sale now via humanitix.com.
